Due to popular demand, this year we have a Bishopric Planner!
I've had family & friends that have served as bishop's in their ward & from what I've seen, there could not be a more stressful calling in the entire church!
I've often watched my own bishop & good friend walk wearily home late at night to his own young family after helping numerous other families in our ward. I often see the concern in his eyes and the worry in his face as he tries to give us his last neighborly chuckle for the night. It is to him and all of the other bishops that I am so grateful for.
What faith a bishop must have, knowing (and/or hoping) that by fullfilling his duty as bishop, the Lord will indeed watch over and bless his own little family and to help them understand why he is having to be shared with so many other families in the ward.
This little planner is just a small attempt to hopefully help those bishops reduce their stress just a bit--maybe even help them to spare a few more moments at home instead of looking for his papers...
